The Starlite Skid Pad has been newly developed to improve safety and performance.
■Light emission performance
One of the features of this product is the use of a completely new resin that contains a newly developed light-storing pigment in ultra-high molecular weight material, which is the highest-grade material among existing resins.
It stores light in visible light and emits light in the dark, but it is not a mechanical light emitting function, so there is no failure.
In addition, the ultra-high-molecular-weight resin has very little degradation over time, and the durability of the pad itself has been improved.
And the inorganic phosphorescent pigment's photoluminescence power will not fade permanently.
(The luminous power may be weak depending on the weather conditions at dusk.)
This light-emitting performance is expected to improve the visibility of motorcycles from the side when riding in tunnels during the daytime, at dusk, or at night.

Starlight Skidpad accumulates light in the visible light range (approx. 360-830nm) and the residual luminance is 30-40 (mdf / square meter) after 60 minutes.
Visible light refers to the wavelengths of electromagnetic waves that are visible to the human eye and are emitted by the sun and various other lights.
The lower boundary of the wavelength is approximately 360-400nm and the upper boundary is approximately 760-830nm.
In addition, the newly developed ultra-high molecular weight resin has improved impact resistance and wear resistance compared with conventional skid pads.

I knew that the Engine Guard made of iron is more durable but I bought it with emphasis on appearance. Jack-up and install Engine part by yourself. I recently heard it when I visited, but it seems that it is not possible to push the Engine relationship in the two wheel hall or naps so it seems that I do not install the Slider that needs to replace the Bolt supporting the Engine. It was said that there are kinds also in the certified factory. I put the ZrX 1200 R that I let go of without mounting Jack-up but this time I made Jack-up just in case.

To loosen the original engine mount bolt 9. Because it seemed likely to break on 5 sq spinner handle. I finally loosened using 5 sq spinner handle. I think that socket wrench alone did not relax. Although it may have been stuck because it was attached to a used car that had fallen five years. If you do not have a 14 mm glasses wrench, socket wrench, socket extension bar, torque wrench and tool, you may want to have it installed at a motorbike shop. As a precaution, I installed the jack up under the engine. Even if you do not have it, so many comments are attached so it will be okay.

I thought as general black color but I thought that white color would also be Accent?
I thought that it is good for luminescent style Starlight, so I decided here.
About installation, it was completed in about 15 minutes with no particular problem.

Also, when I installed it, I noticed that Pad's Length is Quantity : Pair (for Left and Right) It was different.. Right Side seems to be setting 10 mm longer. Those who adhere to Shimme Bird need attention (It seems that you can purchase the same size with for Repair)
