It has been said that the starter clutch is a weak point for CB-F.
The starting clutch was considered to be "consumable", but it is no longer available due to discontinuation.
Until now, starter clutches have caused many problems and we have considered the best way to deal with each problem.
J's has tried to choose non-slippery and long-lasting engine oil, thread lock and welding to fix bolts which are easy to loosen,
The heat has no effect on the thread lock, and the light welds are off.
There is no definitive way to deal with strong welding, as it causes flange distortion.
If it was damaged, replace it with a new one was the only way to go.
Other than that, if you strengthen the weak starter, the clutch will jump and you will not be able to get the power back
The recoil from the engine caused the starter gear and flange to break, and no countermeasures could be taken.
How can we prevent this starter clutch.
The answer is "create a new one".
If you can eliminate the problems and make better parts, you can run without worry.
