■ST1000 Racing
This is a racing disc specially designed for the new racing category "ST1000 class".
In recent years, the performance of 1000cc supersports and the evolution of tires have been remarkable, and the load on the brakes has been increasing.
In the ST1000 class, the brake discs are allowed to be changed under the strict regulations, but it is clear that the brake system in this class is subjected to a very high load, so the "ST1000 Racing" tool is offered to provide a strong stabilizing element.
The ST1000 Racing is designed specifically for the ST1000 with a focus on heat capacity and brake control.
The 6mm thick outer caliper can be used with the stock caliper, and the number and placement of the through holes are optimized for the harsh braking environment of the ST1000 to maximize heat capacity and friction performance.
The inner and outer connections are 12-pin design for rigidity.
The braking torque is precisely converted into thermal energy, and the stable controllability at any speed range is integrated with the rider's will.
[Sunstar Safety and Security]
All of the stainless steel used in Sunstar's disc series is Sunstar's own special steel for brake discs, which has been developed and produced for use in motorcycle brakes only.
It has a specialized performance for motorcycle brakes and cannot be used for other purposes.
It is one of the missions of brake manufacturers to reduce the weight as much as possible while maintaining sufficient safety.
Sunstar produces many test pieces in the design stage and conducts various tests.
By continuing to apply high loads and analyzing in detail "how far it can be broken", you can search for the limit point according to the difference of materials and the dimensions of each part.
