This is a bolt-on kit that adds a light relay to the low beam as well.
The low beam of MC21 consumes a large amount of power, 70W (35W x 2 lamps), but since electricity is output directly from the steering wheel switch without using relays, the load on the HI / LO switch is large and there is a minor problem of burnout.
By installing a relay on the low beam side as in other HONDA 2-light vehicles, the handlebar switch is protected and the high wattage bulb can be used without anxiety.
The light relay is a stock product of the motorcycle manufacturer.
This is the same standard relay that is used for HI side on the NSR250.
[How to install]
Remove the coupler from the handlebar switch, insert the relay kit, and ground the green wire.
Secure the relay with a cable tie.
There are two main ways to route the wires, so please refer to the pictures and route the wires freely so that there is no strain on the wires.
