I purchased this for replacement because of gasoline leakage from the cook of a temporary simple tank that is used when the fuel tank is removed for maintenance of the motorcycle and the engine is running. The cook can be switched smoothly without any hardness. The cook is a rubber part, so if the lever is left in place for a long period of time, the life of the cook will be shortened, so I think it is necessary to periodically move the lever and grease it up.
