**The SR uses a dry sump system to circulate and cool the oil.When the engine is started after being parked and not ridden for more than a day, the oil in the oil tank will first be supplied to the crank side and the hole in the down tube will be visible.If the oil is too low at this point and you add more oil, the oil will overflow from the crank breather.The oil level should be checked after running for at least 30 minutes.
