The body does not protrude too much, making it suitable for adding or replacing meters without affecting the balance of the overall design.
It picks up pulse signals from ignition coils and plug cords, and can be installed on a wide range of bikes regardless of engine type or displacement, as long as the bike has a stock full transistorized & CDI ignition.
A resistor harness is included, allowing installation in bikes where pulse pickup is normally difficult.
