Some Kawasaki Z series lock washers for the front sprocket that have a round hole on the inside and do not have a spline shape to stop them from turning have a small tab shape that is inserted into the front sprocket to make them non-spinning washers.
These tabs are often broken by vibration such as drive torque, and the sprocket nut may come loose.
Also, because the washer is flat, it was difficult to bend it to align with the wall of the sprocket nut.
The "Double Arm Lock Washer" released this time has improved those tabs.
The tab width has been widened and the tabs have increased to two locations to greatly increase strength.
At the same time, by making the outer circumference of the washer easy to grip with a tool, workability has been greatly improved.
The sprocket is now made exclusively for these double arm washers, but the stock lock washers can be used as before.
