■Features of Super Head 4V+R (1 Cam 4 Valve)
Compared to the large bore 2-valve SP Takegawa Super Head + Rock arm, the intake and exhaust valves are 2 valves each, which further expands the valve curtain area, enabling higher intake and exhaust efficiency than the large bore 2-valve.In addition, the head shape was designed to balance the center plug, valve pinching angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape in order to achieve high power output and sustained output characteristics in the high RPM range, which is the biggest feature of the Super Head.
By adopting 1 cam and 4 valves, it was possible to make it as light and compact as possible, and at the same time, it condensed the performance as the strongest SOHC head.

■New shape Superhead 4V+R
The round shape of the cylinder head suits the Monkey style and enhances the custom image of the vehicle.
Each head cover is made of die-cast and barrel polished to give a beautiful appearance to the cylinder head.

■IN/EX port features
The port diameter is optimized for SP Takegawa's 3D shaped manifold.
In addition, by installing it together with the 3-dimensionally shaped manifold, it enables a smooth intake effect from the carburetor to the combustion chamber without resistance, and the performance of the cylinder head can be maximized.

■Adoption of roller rocker arms
The roller rocker arm maximizes the output performance of the Superhead 4V+R, and enables the power output to be increased in the mid to high speed range and maintained in the high rpm range, which is a characteristic of the roller rocker arm.
The roller rocker arms reduce the frictional resistance to the camshaft that occurs with slipper type rocker arms (stock part type)
The roller bearings in the rocker arm allow the cam to follow the cam profile smoothly from low to high rpm.

■M8 Spark Plug
The M8 spark plug was adopted in conjunction with the optimum valve pinching angle and the compactness of the head due to the 4-valve system.

■Displacement: 124cc
Adopts all-aluminum ceramic plated cylinder with excellent durability, airtightness and heat dissipation.
The cylinder is equipped with a temperature sensor as standard.
You can measure the cylinder temperature by purchasing SP Takegawa's thermometer built-in meter or thermometer.

Strengthening the Journal Department
A special bearing with a larger inner diameter is used for the crankshaft journal bearing.
The shaft diameter of the journal section, where stresses on the crankshaft are concentrated, is 22mm, which improves strength and durability.

The camshaft is supported by ball bearings at both ends to reduce frictional resistance in the camshaft journal.
Optional camshafts are available in addition to the included camshafts, allowing you to change the camshafts to suit your application and enjoy the performance of your vehicle.

It reduces the kick-start force and the load on the transmission when starting the engine, and allows smooth engine starting even with large displacement engines.

■Crankcase
SP Takegawa's original reinforced crankcase is a high quality crankcase specially designed to increase the rigidity and detail of the crankcase.
The oil pump is a crankshaft direct drive oil pump.
Compared with the chain drive type reinforced oil pump, the discharge volume is about twice as large.
In order to reduce the internal pressure of the crank case of the large displacement engine, the inner diameter of the breather pipe is 6mm instead of the stock 4mm.
The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the backside of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
The transmission bearing is equipped with a special bearing hold plate for big torque.

■Clutch
TYPE-R DRY (dry type) / hydraulic type clutch is used to eliminate clutch slippage that occurs in high-power engines.(Without slipper clutch mechanism)

■Super Street Outer Rotor
It is capable of stable high power output for both street and racing use, while maintaining the same brightness of lights as stock for street driving and a charge level that compensates for the power consumed while riding.SP Takegawa rotor body uses a medium-sized flywheel that is approximately 50% lighter than the stock flywheel to reduce the load on the crankshaft while providing ease of riding and the necessary power generation power.Furthermore, the pickup positions have been reviewed and the optimum ignition timing has been set for various big bore kits to achieve high power output and response that cannot be obtained with the stock rotors.
