*Need to change to big bore carburetor.Super Head 4V+R Cylinder Head and Big Bore Carburetor Kit are required to maximize the performance of the engine.
SP Takegawa carburetor kit includes carburetor, special manifold (insulator), high throttle set, air filter (VM26 / PE28 only) and fuel cock (VM26 only).You can choose from 4 types of carburetors, MIKUNI VM26, KEIHIN PE28, KEIHIN FCR downdraft and MIKUNI TMR downdraft.
*It is necessary to change to SP Takegawa's exhaust which has excellent exhaust efficiency.In order to get the best performance out of the engine, it is necessary to change to an exhaust with excellent exhaust efficiency.
*No engine oil is included.The engine oil must be purchased separately and filled by the customer.
*The kick starter arm is not included.We recommend you to use SP Takegawa steel forged kick starter arm (chrome plated) 02-08-0052, because other company's kick starter arm may interfere with the clutch cover.
*The recommended big bore carburetor and exhaust are required to get the best performance out of the complete engine.

■Features of Super Head 4V+R (1 Cam 4 Valve)
Compared to the large bore 2-valve SP Takegawa Super Head + Rock arm, the intake and exhaust valves are 2 valves each, which further expands the valve curtain area, enabling higher intake and exhaust efficiency than the large bore 2-valve.In addition, the head shape was designed to balance the center plug, valve pinching angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape in order to achieve high power output and sustained output characteristics in the high RPM range, which is the biggest feature of the Super Head.
By adopting 1 cam and 4 valves, it was possible to make it as light and compact as possible, and at the same time, it condensed the performance as the strongest SOHC head.

The round shape of the cylinder head suits the Monkey style and enhances the custom image of the vehicle.
Each head cover is made of die-cast and barrel polished to give a beautiful appearance to the cylinder head.

The port diameter is optimized for SP Takegawa's 3D shaped manifold.

■Adoption of roller rocker arms
The roller rocker arm maximizes the output performance of the Superhead 4V+R, and enables the power output to be increased in the mid to high speed range and maintained in the high rpm range, which is a characteristic of the roller rocker arm.
The roller rocker arms reduce the frictional resistance to the camshaft that occurs with slipper type rocker arms (stock part type)
The roller bearings in the rocker arm allow the cam to follow the cam profile smoothly from low to high rpm.

The M8 spark plug was adopted in conjunction with the optimum valve pinching angle and the compactness of the head due to the 4-valve system.

■Crankcase
SP Takegawa's original reinforced crankcase is a high quality crankcase specially designed to increase the rigidity and detail of the crankcase.
The oil pump is a crankshaft direct drive oil pump.
Compared with the chain drive type reinforced oil pump, the discharge volume is about twice as large.
In order to reduce the internal pressure of the crank case of the large displacement engine, the inner diameter of the breather pipe is 6mm instead of the stock 4mm.
The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the backside of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
The transmission bearing is equipped with a special bearing hold plate for big torque.
