This is an injection controller that can be installed to the stock ECU with a coupler.
You can easily select, change, and correct the built-in MAP that has been set by using a personal computer or a smart phone.
SP Takegawa's original functions can be used by beginners and professionals alike.
**Installation of some paid apps is required.Please check your system environment and price before installing.
Before downloading or installing the paid app, please make sure to review the precautions.
*It does not improve the performance of the bike when installed on a stock bike.For bikes equipped with SP Takegawa engine parts.

Coupler-on to stock ECU
Because the coupler that corresponds to the stock ECU is adopted for the wiring of the controller, there is no need to modify the wiring at all, and it can be easily installed by coupler-on to the stock ECU.
Preset maps
This product can choose from EASY mode and EXPERT mode maps that are already set according to the engine specifications.
You can easily select, change and modify the settings by using your PC or smartphone.
*If you are using an engine that does not support preset maps, you will need to create a new map.
Idling area adjustment
FI-CON TYPE-X uses the normal ECU starting program for the idling range (engine speed below 2000rpm, below 10% throttle opening up to 4000rpm).
In this area, the injection volume is increased/decreased relative to the stock injection volume as needed.
Fuel injection time adjustment
Can be adjusted every 5% of throttle opening and every 250rpm, so it can be used for both stock displacement and big bore bikes.

Ignition timing adjustment
In the case of EASY mode, it is possible to input the advance angle and the delay angle to the stock ignition timing.In case of EXPERT mode, the entered value (crank angle before top dead center) becomes ignition timing.
In addition, EXPERT mode can adjust "Engine temperature ignition timing correction function" to compensate for the effect on ignition timing caused by changes in vaporization time and combustion time when the engine temperature becomes too high.
Injector dead time correction
There is a slight lag before the injector is energized and injects fuel.This is called the reactive injection time.Since the injector dead time varies depending on the voltage, if the voltage supplied to the injector changes due to the battery condition or a drop in the power generation function, the lag time between the injection command and the actual injection will change, and the amount of fuel injected will also change.
In order to prevent this from happening, setting a correction to keep the conditions constant can be done.
Engine temperature correction
The input value from the PGM-FI oil temperature sensor allows correction such as injecting more fuel than the injection MAP value when the engine temperature is lower than optimum to warm up the engine faster, and injecting more fuel than at lower temperatures to lower the combustion temperature when the engine temperature is higher than optimum.
Intake air temperature correction setting
Since the density of air changes with temperature, this system compensates for the change in air-fuel ratio caused by the intake temperature.

Vaporization time setting (injection timing setting)
Set the vaporization time for the fuel injected from the injector to burn efficiently.
Dwell time setting
In the case of transistor ignition, set the dwell time for the coil before ignition. This energization time is called the dwell time.
Digital acceleration pump
This product takes in the TPS signal and monitors the speed of the accelerator opening.When the accelerator pedal is opened quickly, the system judges that the rider wants quick acceleration and performs acceleration injection asynchronously in addition to the incremental injection set at the moment the accelerator pedal is opened.
It can be set to work in the same way as the "acceleration pump" of a racing carburetor.
Real search function
You can connect to your computer or smartphone with the engine running.Information on the running engine is reflected on the computer or smartphone screen in real time.
The RPM/throttle position readings are reflected in the squares of the fuel injection map graph, and these areas are illuminated to clarify the adjustment points, making it very useful for adjusting settings.

The dedicated software on your computer or smartphone has a real-time monitoring function.In addition to the tachometer screen and throttle opening graph screen, which are very useful for setting, engine temperature and injector fuel injection rate are also displayed digitally.

The upper limit of the engine speed can be set.This function is independent from the limiter cut, so it can be set at low rpm.It can be used as a rev countermeasure for tuned engines and when you don't want to increase the engine speed.

Pit lane limiter function
In addition to the rev limit function, if you do not want to raise the engine rpm due to pit lane speed regulations, etc., you can connect a switch to the wiring inside the spiral tube of the main unit and ground the body to activate the limiter only when the switch is turned on.
Real-time MAP change function
MAP1/MAP2 setting, two MAPs can be written to the FI-CON TYPE-X.The system is designed to be used by switching between racing mode, touring mode, and fuel-efficient riding mode.*A separate switch is required.
Tachometer output service line
The purple wire in the spiral tube of the unit outputs 5 volts per pulse per revolution.
When the special kit is installed, the tachometer output service line is not used.
When installing our universal tachometer, a mounting bracket is required and the harness must be modified to connect the meter power supply.

Windows (excluding RT/Mobile): To install the SP Takegawa software (free), an internet connection is required.
Windows 7/8/10/11: Can communicate using the standard Windows driver (stack).(It can be used with built-in adapter.)
Windows 10 (April 2018 Update [1803] or later): Can connect in the same way.
*Be sure to use the standard Windows driver (stack).Connections to other stacks are not supported.
The PC must have built-in Bluetooth or an external Bluetooth adapter is required.

Compatible devices: Android devices with built-in Bluetooth, version 4.2.2 or later. Note: To install the SP Takegawa app (paid), a connection to Google Play is required.
