Check the upper and lower Steering Head Bearing in the event of spongy handling or lack of directional stability.
If the scooter does not run straight or is spongy, it is advisable to check the upper and lower Steering Head Bearing.
The function can be easily checked with the front wheel off the ground: Place the vehicle on the Centre Stand and move the steering tube including the wheel guide back and forth along the direction of travel.
If there is any play in the Steering Column, either the upper nut must be tightened or the bearing must be replaced.
The bearing shells should also be checked at the same time.
