I installed the old Nissin Radipon and Yamaha Brembo on my SRX600.
However, after about 3km of test run, White smoke came from FCaliper!
Rotor has locked up.
I looked up the model number on the Internet and bought a replacement kit.
When I disassembled the Master Cylinder, I found that it had different parts than the ones I purchased.
The spring length is different and the spring holder is silver, so it seems that the previous owner installed the wrong parts for the new model. The replacement work is easy that anyone can do, but the air venting was difficult, I tried a lot of Net research, but in the end, I removed the Caliper from the Fork and pulled the Piston with a tool and filled the Caliper with brake fluid, and the air venting was completed easily. It was very easy.
I also replaced the Seal on the F-caliper, just in case.
Considering the replacement KitGold and labor, it was safer and more secure to buy a new one instead of a used one.
