The stainless steel inner wire is made of 7 strands of high density 7 x 7 stainless steel wire, achieving a tensile strength of 250kg.
The surface is swaged to reduce the coefficient of friction and provide a light lever touch.
The joints of the tie coils are made of die-cast aluminum for high strength and high quality.
The most important component of the wire is the fitting hardware, which is the same as stock.

First of all, please take note that the item I purchased and reviewed is different from the item in this catalogue. The model (or part number) of the item I purchased and reviewed is JB016C-S while the item in this catalogue is JB016C00. The reason I post my review here because the item I purchased has been removed from the catalogue I think.All I would like to say is that the item I purchased is perfectly fit with clip-on (separate) handle bars. And I will be very happy if Webike will consider to take the model JB016C-S back to the catalogue. This will be greatly useful for W400/W650/W800 owners who want to customize their bikes to \cafe racer\ look with clip-on (separate) handle bars.
