Well, I guess this is how it is.
I had replaced it with R&G's Fender Eliminator Kit as soon as I bought the new car, and the Tail Lamp in the Kit was a transparent Lens, so it illuminated the Number to a certain extent. I am ashamed to say that I have never noticed this because I don't drive at night very often. When it was time for inspection, I took the car to the shop and found that Kit's Tail Lamp did not contain a License Plate Light! It turned out to be a good thing. I had always assumed that it was embedded in the underside of the Tail Lamp. I could have returned it to OEM, but that would have been too much trouble. So I looked for a reasonable License Plate Light, and chose this product with License Plate Bracket due to the problem of securing space for installation. Since my car inspection was coming up, I had it shipped directly to a Motorcycle shop and they installed it immediately.:2pc. No Set light! Clearly insufficient light intensity. Requested immediate return and exchange and completed the exchange and installation the next day. This time, all 4 lights came on and the luminous intensity was sufficient. I was able to meet the scheduled vehicle inspection date with the limit.
The license plate bracket is the smallest necessary size and thickness. The License Plate LightBody also has good brightness, but the wiring comes out from the side, so it is impossible to keep it out of sight. I would not recommend it to those who are particular about the details of the appearance of the light.
I think it is a product that is appropriate for the price. If you want a clean and high quality custom look, you should choose another product, even if it is more expensive.
