The clutch center spring plays the role of quickly and forcibly returning the pulley from a high-ratio state to a low-ratio state using spring force during sudden acceleration from deceleration in curves or on slopes. By reinforcing the spring, KITACO clutch center springs allow for a quicker return to a low gear, enabling sharper acceleration.
It shifts the V-belt transmission (pulley) engagement RPM (shift-keep RPM) to a higher range, providing powerful riding characteristics that maintain the torque band.

Be careful with clutch spring change!
We must be strong man to change clutch spring as it can explode when we open. Please have professional install. It is also the good excuse to clean this whole area when we open this is hitting second bird with same stone.

The center clutch spring is a integral part on your scooters performance. This center clutch spring from kitaco is a good replacement from the stock springs on my honda joker 90. Although shorter than stock, its tension is harder than stock to add some umph to my accelerations.
