Features:
1. Improved Acceleration: Provides quick response to throttle input, allowing you to feel the difference compared to standard plugs.
2. Increased Engine Power: Enhances engine performance, providing more power on inclines for a comfortable ride.
3. Improved Ignition and Starting: The ultra-fine electrode ignites quickly, improving engine starting. Stable idling due to reduced spark variation.
4. Improved Fuel Efficiency: Excellent ignition performance allows for efficient fuel combustion, making it both economical and environmentally friendly.
As a premium plug for normal engines, the Iridium IX plug uses an ultra-fine iridium alloy center electrode to achieve superior ignition and significantly improved response. The thin electrode allows sparks to jump easily, increasing energy and ignition performance to maximize engine output. The thermo-edge at the tip of the insulator burns off carbon deposits to prevent degradation of ignition performance and maintain high performance.
Iridium IX Plug Features:
Compared to standard plugs, Iridium IX plugs have faster flame propagation and feature a thermo-edge on the insulator tip to improve fouling resistance. The center electrode is made of iridium alloy and is finer than platinum to improve ignition performance. The thermo-edge effect also provides resistance to carbon fouling.
- The center electrode is extremely thin, and the outer electrode tip is tapered.
- Sparks jump easily, providing excellent ignition performance.
- Improves starting, acceleration, and idling stability, while also improving fuel economy.
- Reduces the quenching effect of the plug electrode, improving ignition performance.
* Effects may vary depending on the vehicle.
About Plug Terminal Shapes:
Please select the terminal shape that matches your engine and plug cord. Terminal shapes include "Integrated," "Separated," "Threaded," and "Punch-crimped." Generally, "Integrated" and "Punch-crimped" are used for automobiles, while "Threaded" is used for motorcycles. Plugs used for both may have a "Separated" configuration. The "Separated" terminal nut can be removed, but "Integrated" and "Punch-crimped" terminals cannot. Forcing them may break the terminal. When using a "Separated" type as a "Threaded" type, remove the terminal nut. If using with the nut attached, ensure it is tight; if loose, tighten gently with pliers.
NGK Plug Features:
- Ultra "Wide Range" Plug: The center electrode features a "copper core" structure that seals copper near the tip to quickly dissipate large amounts of heat, resulting in a wide range plug resistant to both overheating and fouling.
- High-Alumina Ceramic Insulator: Provides excellent insulation at high temperatures, ensures reliable sparking, prevents overheating, and is resistant to thermal shock and mechanical stress.
- Durable Construction: The insulator and metal shell are joined with special powder for excellent airtightness and structural durability.
- Excellent Durability: Uses special nickel alloy electrodes for superior durability.
- Corrugated Insulator: Prevents flashover by increasing the surface distance between the terminal and the metal shell.
