About Plug Terminal Shapes:
Please select a terminal shape that matches the installation side of your engine and plug cord. Plug terminal shapes include "Integrated," "Separable," "Threaded," and "Punch-riveted." Generally, "Integrated" and "Punch-riveted" are used for four-wheeled vehicles, while "Threaded" is used for motorcycles. Plugs used for both may have a "Separable" configuration.
The terminal part of the "Separable" type can be removed, but the terminal parts of "Integrated" and "Punch-riveted" types cannot. Forcing them off may break the terminal. When using a "Separable" type as a "Threaded" type, remove the terminal nut. If using with the terminal nut attached, ensure there is no looseness; if loose, tighten lightly with pliers.

If the required voltage between the spark gaps is high, flashover can easily occur as the high voltage attempts to leak along the insulator surface. To prevent flashover, insulator corrugations are provided to increase the surface distance between the terminal and the metal shell, ensuring insulation and preventing flashover.
