This is a handy dandy little helmet lock. You can get it rekeyed to match the factory key very easily. Every bike should have something similar.

Ordered this helmet lock for a 2013 Yamaha Fazer 8 . Super fast shipping, only took a couple of days to receive it at my location in Canada. Installation was really simple, remove the two bolts holding the left rear foot peg, line the helmet lock bracket up with the foot peg holes, place the foot peg on top of the bracket and bolt up using the security torx screws supplied with kit. Then attach the lock set to the bracket and secure using the supplied torx screw and your done, takes maybe 5 minutes. Other motorcycle models may require some modification as noted by other reviewers. Really happy with this helmet lock. Looks factory stock and the way the bike should have left the Yamaha factory in the first place. Good product and happy with the service and support from Webike.

The Helmet Lock came surprisingly fast. It fit perfectly and looks like a factory lock. I am super happy with it. It\'s something that should have been done straight from the Yamaha Factory but wasn\'t. It is however, the next best thing. I\'m extremely satisfied with it. If your tired of carrying your helmet and gloves everywhere with you then spend the money and never look back!

Bought this for my FZ-09 which did not come with a helmet lock. It will not fit the 09 with the lock on the rear side of the peg (as pictured). You have to grind the bracket down a little and flip it so the lock is before the peg. Re-keying to the ignition key is pretty easy considering this is a wafer lock mechanism. Took about an hour to re-key, grind the bracket and mount the lock. All in all, very good product. I just wish it was available specifically for the 09. Shipping was very fast to Houston, TX.

Unfortunately the Yamaha FZ1 Gen II (06+) does not come with a standard helmet lock which is an inconvenience when stopping at a restaurant or other places and you don\'t want to carry your helmet with you. This kit solves that problem with a genuine Yamaha lock and a steel powder coated bar that attaches to the left side passenger footpeg bracket holes on the frame. Kit includes all hardware and the Torx bolts for attachment, the bolts that attach to the frame are security Torx bolts. Installation time is about ten minutes. Highly recommended solution for solving the lock problem
