Since I only ride my motorcycle two or three times a month, I didn't want to leave it parked on the Side Stand tilted as much as possible and I decided to go with the 20 millimeter long because of the look of the Stainless Steel.
It was good because I was able to park stably when I cut it to the left because it became near vertical and felt unstable if I left the Handlebar straight.
If you put the bolt on the STAND first, the spring will be too hard to hang. It will be easier to install.
I was a little disappointed that the buffing on the surface of the Stainless Steel was dull in places. The surface of the stainless steel was a little dull in places. It's not too much to worry about though;

The original side stand was bend due to use over 16 years. This stainess side stand is excellent in finishing and polishing. It is much lighter than original. But should pay more attention when parked face to down slope because it is a bit straight than original.
