** For high-tune engines such as those with big bore kits, we recommend the Power Advance Full Digital CDI.
* Please verify the model name, grade, registration model, manufacturing year (not the sales/purchase year), frame number, engine number, and coupler shape to ensure correct fitment. Extra caution is required for used vehicles with modified bodywork.
* When replacing the CDI, you must install a new spark plug with a heat range suitable for high-RPM engine operation (1-2 steps higher than standard). You must use a resistor-type spark plug.
* If stable starting voltage cannot be maintained, engine starting may be difficult. Please check the battery condition regularly.
* As this is a battery ignition type CDI, removing the regulator will prevent the engine from starting.
* The CDI cannot be disassembled or repaired; if the internal circuit is damaged, replace it with a new unit.
* Installation on non-stock vehicles or in combination with other Daytona products is unverified and not covered by warranty..

Recommended for Standard Bore & Light tune users!
I had the Red box on for some reason until I installed this product
I recently bought it for comparison purposes as I have more money in my pocket
Compared to the Red box, the time to reach the maximum speed was reduced by three seconds (the maximum speed remained the same)
I got quite a shock when I realized how thin the red box was set up in the mid-speed range
Also, Idling's poor return from a run to a stop has been improved somewhat
Conclusion, Engine Displacement from NORMAL to 59?Light Bore For Volume, the Blue box is enough

Put this in my Yamaha Jog 5SU (2006 model but listed as 2011 in New Zealand). The unit removed the rev limiter and the scooter now goes about 10kmh faster. Acceleration is largely unchanged.
