Replace Air Filter

[How is it used?
Installed on NINJA2 Helmet 50RR as a replacement for K&NFilter.
Traveling:Touring, mountain passes
Period of use:about 6 years or so
Custom contents:Exhaust SystemFull Exhaust System, air cleaner box drilling, RapidMotorcycleEasy installation.

Was the one you received as per Image?
As you can see in the image, the product looks almost exactly the same as the K&N.

Was the installation difficult?
As with the K&NFilter, I had to insert it with a lot of pressure to get it to go in.
I got the rubber part very wet and then inserted it.

How was your experience with it?
Compared to the K&NFilter, the intake efficiency was slightly lower. I could feel it. But it was really only a slight decrease. Still, the intake efficiency is much better than OEM.
RapidMotorcycleEasy was able to run without difficulty with the same settings as K&NFilter.
The car has been run for about 5000km and the filter has been cleaned and reused. I have not had any problems after cleaning.
Unlike OEM products, this product can be used for a long time with proper maintenance like K&NFilter.
Maintenance restores the performance of the system, so it is important to perform maintenance on a regular basis.
Also, the exhaust system was replaced. (Custom exhaust system) then Quantity:It is recommended that the Air Filter be changed to one with better air intake efficiency in Set.
It's FI, so it won't improve performance as dramatically as carburetor, but it will still make you a little happier if you do it.
The K&NFilter has a Large variable intake efficiency, but is a bit pricey, so I found this product to be more cost effective.

You can apply silicon grease or silicon spray to the surface of the rubber of this product so that it can be inserted smoothly. I didn't care about it, so I applied Lithium silicon grease and inserted it. (No particular Trouble has occurred.)

K&N Filter maintenance kit (FilterCareService kit) If you purchase the product at the same time, you can use it for a long time while maintaining it. (No problems have arisen when used in this product.)

Washing Filter (It can be this product, or another, or you can keep the OEM.)

I don't know about the performance function durability yet. The assembly was a little stiff, but I was able to slowly push it in. Normal.

Performance is no problem.
Power feeling up from the bottom up to the Red zone was up and dandruff improved as well.

However, installation requires processing.
Filter edge thickness is thicker than Rail.
Because it is a soft material, I cut it with Cutter Knife and applied it.
Pictures are finished, plus shavings... (^_^;)

It was K & N Replacement Air Filter for comparison, but I bought this with Cospa and Brand.
Although it was able to be installed in about 5 minutes, Filter unexpectedly entered the room but there was a serious anxiety.

OEM's Air Filter is pretty tight and I also saw K & N's Imprime, but as I wrote that Sealing Grease was painted and I could insert it at the end of it, too much loose fitting feeling Large If it is strong ,,,,.

Still I was riding in that state for about 1 or 2 days. Of course, the Torque overall improved so much that I could feel it, and although I had the performance as expected, I could not clean up the insecurity at the time of installation again, purchasing K & NSealing Grease (DAYTONA does not sell Grease).
When I installed it again fairly thickly, I felt that the thickness increased especially to the low speed Torque, and after Fire changed to any other Company ProductExhaust System, almost no more after Fire became lost.

Although I bought it for Ninja 250R for the time being, since I have doubts about making details in the above, I will make three overall evaluations.
Of course, I was able to obtain the expected performance and I was satisfied so I think that I can recommend it Parts.
