** Unlike Honda genuine option grip heaters which feature half-wrap heating elements, this product uses a full-wrap heating element. Consequently, power consumption is higher than Honda genuine options. Starting or using the grip heater at maximum heat immediately after engine start will significantly drain the battery. To extend the life of the battery and electrical system, begin use only after the engine has started, idled, and the vehicle has been ridden for 2-3km.
* Motorcycles are not generators. Use the product sparingly, keeping in mind that you are using surplus power. To improve thermal efficiency, consider using handlebar covers to block wind and retain heat.
* Due to the trend of increasing electrical accessories, ensure your motorcycle's electrical system can support this product. Consult with a professional motorcycle shop regarding your specific electrical requirements before installation.
* Because power demand is high, the battery protection function may automatically cut power during traffic jams or at stoplights if the heater is set to level 5. If this occurs, resume use once cruising speed is reached.
* When installing on genuine or aftermarket throttle pipes, warming the pipe beforehand will cause thermal expansion, making installation easier.
* Installation on full-cowl vehicles or scooters may require routing wiring through the cowl, which can increase labor costs and time. Consult with a professional shop regarding wiring and power source selection before booking service.
* Verify the compatibility of your throttle pipe, including genuine part numbers. Depending on the grip length, genuine bar ends may not be compatible.
* Many modern motorcycles come equipped with factory grip heaters. Check your vehicle's current configuration with your dealer before purchase.
* On motorcycles with low power generation, the grips may not warm up effectively and battery drain will be severe. Check your vehicle's power generation capacity before use.
* For fuel-injected vehicles with computer-controlled power, ensure the connection is made to a circuit without power restrictions to avoid power cuts.
* Use caution when connecting to vehicles with LED tail lights or immobilizers.
* Never connect to thin-gauge wires such as those for LED lamps, as this can cause abnormal overheating.
* For vehicles with immobilizers, be careful when connecting near the key cylinder to avoid malfunctions or computer failure.
* This product is a consumable item. Replace if the heat sheet surface shows scratches, cracks, or wear.
* To facilitate installation, energize the grip heater to warm it up; the grip will expand, making it easier to slide onto the handlebar.
* Depending on the 1-inch handlebar, this universal product may be loose or tight. Modifications (sanding the mounting surface or shimming the handlebar) may be required.
* Harley-Davidson motorcycles have high battery consumption; monitor battery health closely when using this product.
* Do not activate the grip heater immediately after starting the engine. Wait 5-10 minutes after beginning your ride.
