The windshield is made of polycarbonate (3mm thick) made in Japan.
It is about 30 times stronger than acrylic of the same thickness, and has both high transparency and durability.

High quality product, works well.
Been very happy with this windscreen, the installation was a little fiddly but nothing too major, it looks great and fits perfectly, and it does an excellent job at deflecting wind up and away from you. It also gave me a noticeable boost in top speed on the motorway.
