Pretty simple tool for more piece of mind when doing chain adjustments. Works well on my bikes. I put the tool on just to see if my current alignment was good. It is, but the tool confirmed my suspicion that the alignment marks on my swing arm are not stamped symmetrically. I eyeballed it prior to purchasing this tool. If you have calibrated eyesight, an alignment tool isn?t really necessary. But, this is an affordable and useful little device to make the job a tad easier. If you have deep pockets, I imagine the laser alignment tools would be the way to go.When done, rear wheel spun more freely and with less noise. Simple and quick to use!
