The front brake on my 30 year old used kdx220 was not working properly and I ordered the parts to check the corrosion inside the caliper. I found no rust but oxidized solids from brake fluid stuck on cylinder wall and prevented piston from moving. I scraped off the solids with a sandpaper. The rubber seal cannot be reused once it is roasted, so it must be replaced.
SealRubber needs to be coated with Grease which is applicable to both Gold genus and Rubber parts, but Grease is not included. It is necessary to prepare it separately. There is no instruction manual for handling, so specialized knowledge is required for the work.
