Really wanted a USB plug for my Trail but I didnt want to have to drill out the hole bigger and I didnt want to have to cut and splice any wires. This plugs directly into the factory service plug (the red plug clipped onto the battery cover) so it couldnt be simpler to wire up. Also the waterproof cover was really important to me. Another thing is that, being wired up this way, the USB is only powered when the key is on, as ive read that cheaper ones on say Amazon are always on and will run the battery dead between rides. This is the best way to go if you have a US spec Trail 125!
