Slippery Clutch: Without

**Since slipper clutches structurally cause clutch slippage when the engine is started, it is recommended to use various camshafts with auto-decompression (except for Desmodromic 4V head).
*Slipper clutches cannot fully release the back torque.Please do not downshift sharply at high rpm to prevent damage to the valve mechanism, because a part of it is transmitted to the crankshaft.
*When installing on Z50J-1300017-1600007 vehicles, the clutch cable supplied cannot be installed on the stock clutch holder (the type welded to the handle pipe), so replace the handle pipe and use SP Takegawa clutch lever or Use SP Takegawa clutch lever or combination switch with clutch lever.

*Depending on the lot, the product may be delivered with the old price and label with the old JAN code before the price change..

SP Takegawa Special Clutch Kit for high power engines is a standard item that is required with engine tuning.

Since the clutch body is installed on the secondary side (transmission main shaft), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, the weight is reduced and the throttle response is improved.
The included primary driven gear is equipped with a damper to reduce shock when the clutch is connected.The number of friction discs is set to 5, so it can be used for engines with higher output by tuning.
In addition to the standard clutch type, you can also choose a slipper clutch to reduce back torque.

Patented construction: Thermostat mounting section and oil line structure
The clutch cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
Oil can be taken out to the oil cooler.
Optional thermostat unit with shape memory alloy spring can be installed.Prevents overcooling.
Thermostat unit sold separately.
The oil element is of the highly reliable cartridge paper type.
The engine oil check window is made of durable glass.
Clutch cable receiver with integrated cover.

[Slippery Clutch]
The slipper clutch slips when a sudden engine brake (back torque) is applied, and controls the effectiveness of the engine brake.
This reduces sudden posture changes caused by engine braking, hopping of the rear tires, and the load on the engine.
Of course, the clutch will not slip even with a high power engine because it operates the same as the conventional special clutch during normal driving.
A special pressure plate and clutch cam are installed in the clutch section that connects the power between the crankshaft and the transmission.
As a result, the back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transmitted to the clutch cam, the cam of the pressure plate and the clutch cam are activated, the pressure plate is pushed down to the semi-clutch state, and the back torque is released.
As with the standard clutch, the secondary clutch is mounted on the main shaft of the transmission to reduce the load on the crankshaft.
Also, the crankshaft shaft can be lightened, and a light throttle response can be demonstrated.
The primary driven gear is equipped with a damper to reduce shock when the clutch is connected.
With 5 friction discs, it is suitable for high power engines both on the street and in the race.
Machined aluminum lifter plate is adopted.

[How is it used?
Clutch is a must for powered-up engines!
It was replaced when the car was Bore up more than 100cc.

Was the one you received as per Image?
It was just like the image.

Was the installation difficult?
It was difficult because there were so many parts and a Special Tool was also needed for installation.

How was your experience with it?
The power of the PowerUp Engine is properly transmitted to the wheels.

[Included Parts:were they on?
Cover, Clutch edition, Spring, Housing, Gasket… there are too many to write them all down.

[Was there anything that disappointed you?
The once thriving MagCover is finally out of business…
Material:It is a shame because it was better as a Material than Aluminum, which is more resistant to corrosion.

▼Design is tired of seeing now because it is a standard Engine tuning, and it is GOOD that Thermostat can be installed easily.

I really love this part from Special Parts Takegawa, it just makes the Monkey look a million dollars and gives the engine overall just a better feeling. This special clutch kit also now gives you the ability to have a real oil filter and if you are going to run an oil cooler also the ability to have it start cooling when required by adding a thermostat. Such great thought has gone into designing this part. Installation skill required is medium and you will be needing some special tools which Webike has on offer. Expensive but well worth it.

I was able to install the special clutch that I have wanted for a long time.
You will need a special tool for installation, but I think it's relatively easy because there are some things you can get cheaply.
My impression is that the Crankshaft load is reduced and the Response is better and lighter. (Lightweight Outer changed) I'm satisfied with the look and feel.
It tends to stall if you don't rev it higher than usual.
I think I did it wrong, but the difficulty was that the Spring protrusion scratched the Cover when I incorporated the Clutch Wire.
