About mt09sp

mt09spThe BS is quicker and more comfortable than the BS that came with it, but the BS is not so comfortable. When turning, you can feel the information from the Tire and it feels good. In summary, BS is firm, Metzler is supple.

Why did you choose this product?
I've been looking for the perfect Tire to drive my recently delivered vehicle around.
I came across this Tire which is popular for its stable grip and long life from cold.

I don't see many reviews in Japan (maybe it's a minor Tire), but from the reviews on overseas sites, the Tire was praised for its comfort and I took the plunge and bought it.
I had used Metzler's M5 in the past and was surprised by its high performance, so I had no hesitation in using it.

Impressions after using it
The usage is a 6:4 ratio of commuting and Winding driving.
I rode it for over 2 months regardless of rainy days.

Even though it's a For Street Tire, I was surprised at how much Grip power it has.
I was thinking of it as a Tire that can be ridden safely in cold weather for off-season use only, but it's just a rollover.
Even at single digit temps, I can feel the grounding from the Tire, and I actually Grip, so I feel pretty secure.

Even I was surprised at the stability of the Spacol kitchen, which is usually the main circuit driving.

It also allows you to turn very smoothly and naturally, perhaps this is the nature of Tire.
The tire is For Street, so it feels more like a rigid wheel rolling around than a crushing roll, but it turns well. 。 Even without excessive input.

Crush and run the Tire of the street. is not necessary for the Tire of the thing.
It can be laid down quickly, turn smoothly, increase the Axel opening degree while waking up the motorcycle, and accelerate with the speed. This movement can be done without feeling uncomfortable.
Because it can do too much, the Axel opening degree touches more and more, but it doesn't care. It stands up as if nothing had happened.

It's a strange sensation:the Tire doesn't feel that squashed, but it's eating properly.
I just have to take my hat off to For StreetTire for their high level of performance lately.

I was thinking of it for Off-season only rolling, but I felt that I wanted to enjoy the classy ride of this Tire all the way to the verge of Circuit driving.

▼ Attention
You can't do full bank without warm-up even if you have grip in cold time.
Absolute grip is not as good as ProductionTire, even if you switch to Compound.
When replacing the tire, we recommend that you have a changer or a skilled technician install the tire because of its high rigidity.
The flatness is changed from OEM to improve the turning performance, but it may contact the Fender or Swing Arm.

Impressions after Tire break-in.

Just when you thought Bridgestone's BATTLAX was in the best position, the foreign-made Tire is not to be outdone.
This time, I changed to a Metzler, which is not a major but a major, and ran it just to get used to it.
I thought I might slip at first, so I drove like a large person. LOL!
While breaking in.
It's a sticking point, like it's following the road surface conditions.
I haven't enjoyed the Corner ring yet, but it looks pretty good.
Surprisingly, I would recommend it.
Honestly, I hope it's not the Tire that everyone is wearing. LOL!

The evolution of the M7RR!

This is a replacement from the previous model, M7RR.
The M7RR was such a Large favorite Tire that I Repeated it.
High straight line stability, gentle bank, cushion performance, wet performance, dry grip of SIDE part, and yet high durability.
I used it for several driving sessions, High speedTouring, and Winding, and kept it at the same performance for about 7000km.
What the hell is this Tire? It's too greedy.

I have used such a new model of Eutectic for about 700km, so here is my impression.

My impression is that it is the exact same line. Well, I guess it's natural because it's a successor.
As usual, it has high straight-line stability and high cushion performance.
SasQuantity:I'm not messing with the Set, but it's more solid.
I've checked it out up to about 200km/h and it feels lumpy as far as centrifugal force goes. Especially Rear has weight in a good way, and there is a little bouncing sensation in Bump. (Cushion is outstanding, so don't be offended)

The dry grip is definitely extended and the targeted line is passed sharply. The M7RR didn't have such an assertive cornering, but the M9RR made me feel the line was more defined and running.
The stability in the bank has been improved, and I want to do more like this! I want to do more like this! You can also make changes during the banking process.
I'm not too bad at Corner anymore.
Overall, I get the impression that it has grown 10% more than the M7RR.

Wet is running only about the street rain, but there is no anxiety at all because the previous work is already high performance. Of course, it will be more than the same etc. for Life, so it can be expected.

I think some people are afraid of DUCATI because they are overstir. Especially Pirelli's ROSSO CORSA is hard to turn if you don't put a load on it, but it is a tire that can turn very much if you put a load on it, so it becomes sharp handling like Razor.
I think the M7RR and M9RR are Exactly the right tires for DUCATI because of their neutral characteristics that allow you to ride the way you want.

The M7RR is a masterpiece Tire in my opinion, so it's already amazing that the performance can still improve from there.
This is a great Tire for Dry, Wet, Truck and Life.
Unless you're CircuitOnly, you really can't go wrong with these!

It was a new lot in 2021, but it was finally made in chna.
It's a shame because it was a good Tire. I will not buy Metzeler anymore.
