Older damper was perished and need replacing. Found this on Webike at a reasonable price so decided to pull the pin and buy it. Probably not needed but if you need parts, why try and save money when they are not that expensive anyway. Arrived quickly, very well packaged and flat which is what I needed. Would have been no good if it was bent out of shape. Great quality part.fitted easily and fast. I would say it makes a difference but maybe that's just me
