Gauge series to be inserted into the stock headlight case of Monkey Ape.It can be easily installed by simply replacing the stock speedometer.
SP Takegawa calls this meter "D type" because it looks like a D shape when you look at the body from below.

■Details
The combination of the white panel with the atmosphere of a racing machine and the longer-than-stock pointer provides excellent visibility day and night.
In addition, you can customize the backlight color with the optional LED bulb.(Incandescent bulb at shipment)
The meter panel has a white panel, black scales and black guidelines.The speed display has a 140km/h scale, which is approximately 2.3 times the stock scale.
The center of the meter is equipped with a six-digit odometer (distance traveled).(12V, 6V lighting bulb included)
It is a stock headlight case compatible type, and there is no troublesome processing for installation.

■Color customization can be done by installing an LED bulb
By replacing the meter bulb of SP Takegawa's D-type speedometer (pointer bulb illumination type), you can customize the color of the backlight illumination.LED bulb is for 12V vehicles only.

Since it is the same size as the OEM, I was able to install it in the OEMHeadlight case without any problems.
While the OEMSpeedometer displays a speed that is about -5% of the GPS speedometer, this product is a reverse HappyMeter that displays a speed that is almost the same as the GPS speedometer. So, you may think that you have lost your speed by changing the speedometer. However, the car is fine.

Also, after using the Meter on a rainy day, condensation formed inside the Meter and obscured the display. The Meter may not be airtight because it was fixed after leaving it on a sunny day.
