This up exhaust is designed to fit the stock heat protector and does not affect the stock style at all.
SP Takegawa's original silencer structure and exhaust pipe enables high exhaust efficiency which is different from stock and improves the power performance.
The exhaust pipe and silencer are both made of stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability.

Great sound, OEM plus. Nice if you dont want your bike to sound like a honda portable generator. Not too loud sounds like it could be a factory option. Only 19mm ID at the header pipe so its not for someone wanting to make big power but its nice for a mild upgrade.

Loved the look of the stock exhaust but wanted something with a little more sound and better performance. Install took just under an hour using Google Translate and the instruction manual, overall a very straight forward install. Performance wise I combined this with a high performance Takegawa air filter and it makes a world of difference. The bike now pulls more and we'll into the high RPM range, I've also noticed a gain of a few extra MPH.

I like the looks of the factory exhaust with the guars so when I found a full stainless system that retained the factory guards, and made by SP Takegawa at that, I knew it was the one. Much more free flowing than factory and really gives it a mean sound. Much quieter than the Yoshimura exhausts that I have heard. Love it!

Takegawa Sports Exhaust Normal look
I bought it because I like the fact that it doesn't feel like a replacement as the name of the product suggests.
Installation was easy as long as you follow the instruction manual, and the precision of the parts is satisfactory.

Not as loud as I thought it would be.
The proximity exhaust noise level is 86dB, which is a large value compared to other companies' products, but it is not as loud as expected during idling and normal driving, and in a good sense, it betrayed my imagination. The sound quality is surprisingly mild, probably due to the difference in material from the previous model made of steel.
My impression after the test run was that the low-speed Torque was slightly thinner and the high-rpm extension was better. The model is originally low-speed oriented, so even if the low-speed torque is sacrificed a little, it is acceptable if the horsepower increase of nearly 1ps and the high-rpm extension can be obtained by replacing the exhaust system.
Material:The stainless steel construction eliminates the risk of rust, and there are currently no exhaust leaks from the joints, as is often said.
It is not as good as YOSHIMURA in terms of sound quality, but if you stick to the Normal style, this is the one to choose.
