About Plug Terminal Shapes:
Select a terminal shape that matches the engine and plug cord installation side. Plug terminal shapes include "Integrated," "Separated," "Threaded," and "Punch-riveted." Generally, "Integrated" and "Punch-riveted" are used for four-wheeled vehicles, while "Threaded" is used for two-wheeled vehicles. Plugs used for both four and two-wheeled vehicles may have a "Separated" configuration. The terminal part of the "Separated" type can be removed, but the terminal parts of the "Integrated" and "Punch-riveted" types cannot be removed. Forcing them off may break the terminal. When using a "Separated" type as a "Threaded" type, remove the terminal nut. If using with the terminal nut attached, ensure there is no looseness; if loose, tighten lightly with pliers.
NGK Plug Features:
- Ultra "Wide Range" Plug -
The center electrode features a "copper core" structure, with copper sealed near the tip to quickly dissipate large amounts of heat. This achieves an ultra "wide range" plug that is resistant to both overheating and fouling.
Comparing the thermal characteristics of copper-core plugs versus non-copper-core plugs shows that copper-core plugs have superior thermal characteristics and fouling resistance, with a wider heat range.

Excellent insulation at high temperatures for reliable sparking. Excellent thermal conductivity to prevent overheating. Resistant to thermal shock (rapid heating/cooling) and has excellent mechanical strength.

The insulator and metal shell are joined with special powder, providing excellent airtightness and structural durability.
- Excellent durability -
Uses special nickel alloy electrodes for superior durability.
- Insulator corrugations (ribs) ensure insulation and prevent flashover -
High voltage is constantly applied between the terminal and the metal shell during sparking. High voltage tends to leak along the insulator surface, and flashover is more likely to occur if the required voltage between the spark gaps is high. To prevent flashover, insulator corrugations are provided to increase the surface distance between the terminal and the metal shell, ensuring insulation and preventing flashover.

Reliable Performance from the Standard NGK Spark Plug on the Grom BBK
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the CR8E standard spark plug from NGK, the properties of the standard NGK spark plug like copper cored center electrode ensure a reliable spark. About the feeling of use: The NGK CR8E spark plug is better suited to the Grom BBK then the original installed NGK CPR6EA-9, the cooler rating ensures a trouble free spark with the higher compression piston of the BBK. Products to buy together: NGK also offer high performance spark plug caps which would also be desirable to purchase alongside the NGK CR8E standard spark plug to remove any chance of the performance of the standard spark plug being decreased. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes. Firstly, check the spark plug gap and adjust if required, then simply remove and install the spark plug and refit the spark plug cap securely. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality standard spark plug at a great price that is more then suitable for the perforamce requirement of the Grom BBK when considering the additional cost and minimal performace advantage of the iridium spark plug. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The original Honda spark plug heat rating is 6. Recommended heat rating for the stock engine is 6 or 7 and recommended heat rating for a big bore or high compression engines is 8 or 9.

The 8 heat rating spark plug works best with my modified engine setup
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are a combinations of copper, porcelain and nickel alloy for the standard plugs from NGK. About the feeling of use, After 1000 kms of use with the previous 9 heat rating spark plug the bike would stall and be difficult to start in colder weather conditions. The 8 heat rating spark plug works best with my modified engine setup with no negative side effects. Products to buy together, To maximize the performance of your spark it would be ideal to also add an upgraded hyper ignition coil from Takegawa to your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the spark plug for my installation was very easy due to the ease of access to the cylinder head and simple nature of the task. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive a spark plug made of quality materials from a well known brand. Pricing of stand spark plugs from other brands is similar where as iridium spark plugs are much more expensive. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. I find the link supplied to track my order very useful and the order arrived within the estimated date range. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs.
